TODAY Show Guests Today and This Week: Every Hour's Lineup
Quick answer: For Monday, Oct. 5, TVmaze's listings show screenwriter Aaron Sorkin and actor Ed Burns in TODAY's 7–9 a.m. hours, John Cena, Caitríona Balfe and D.L. Hughley at 9 a.m., and Burns, Cena and psychotherapist Esther Perel at 10 (all ET). NBC had not published its own release for the week of Oct. 5 as of 6 a.m. ET on Monday, Oct. 5, so every name for that week is listed, not confirmed. Lineups are subject to change for breaking news.
The names below come from NBC News' weekly lineup release. TVmaze's episode listings for the three TODAY broadcasts carry the same lineup, but they repeat NBC's wording, misspelled names included, so we count them as a copy of the release and not as a second confirmation. For days that have already aired, a guest is described as having appeared only where TODAY.com has posted the segment. Everyone else is "listed." Times are Eastern; your NBC station may run the later hours at a different local time.
